A course designed to provide the student with the opportunity for training in practical work situations and areas of Interest in psychology. There are 30 clock hrs per each credit hour
Objective
- Set up a psychology internship at a faculty-approved site.
- Complete 30 internship hours per class credit under the supervision of a mental health licensed professional.
- Create self-awareness regarding personal strengths and weaknesses in the internship setting through class discussion and journaling.
- Enhance internship skills through supplemental readings and assignments.
